STUDENT COMMUNITY SPONSORSHIP PROGRAM
Sponsor children’s education in a unique project with Danakosha Trust!
Community sponsorship will improve children’s possibilities to attend school. This means that the children’s accommodation, meals, school equipment and good quality teaching are guaranteed during their entire studies. We regularly stay in contact with the local community and report to sponsors in a newsletter.
Sponsorship funds support the whole school community as we are not able to allocate funds to a specific child at this moment. Also keep in mind that any company, class group, student’s union, group of friends or workmates can become a sponsor together!

The funds collected will be used to support the aid activities of the association’s partners in the target countries.
The collected funds are used for:
1) to support afternoon club activities in Tibet. The funds are used, for example, for the meals of the children attending the club, club supplies, furniture and the salary of the club instructor/teacher, as well as to support club activities organized for the elderly during the school holidays.
2) to support schooling in India. The association’s partner is a Tibetan Buddhist institute in Kullu Valley, Manali, North India.
The funds are used through a partner to support the children’s school attendance (e.g. meals, clothing, school supplies and dormitory accommodation costs).
